Too Many %#*!%*#!^ Devices!
We sorta touched on this earlier.
We are seeing a lot of you tweet Viggle about the “too many devices” error. We’ve also heard that many of you only use 1 or 2 devices throughout your Viggle account history.
We have no idea what the heck is going on. We’re damn near afraid to log in at all! From what we heard via Viggle, if you email customer service, they can open a trouble ticket to fix this issue. (Why it’s a rule at all is beyond us.)
You might get a standard reply from Viggle initially, but hopefully they will get on it & clear it up. You might also be stuck in the interim and not be able to Viggle. You could try clearing the cache and data, but we doubt that’d change anything.
Stay on them, once you send an email, and make sure you get it cleared up. There simply have to be allowances for people upgrading devices over time. And most households have at least 2 devices to start with. Doesn’t make sense to us that people are suddenly getting this message and are nowhere near 5 devices.
Remember, this is not an issue of being logged into too many devices at once. You can only be logged into your account on one device at a time. It’s about using too many devices over time. (We state that because some have it backwards, and it’s not the case.)
Anyway, keep calm, & Viggle on…. if you’re not on a time out, apparently.
PS If we do happen to hear something more directly & specifically from Viggle, we will definitely let you know.
